Default Skull Shifter Peg

Hey All,
Hope the holidays are treating all well. I have a question that I cant seem to figure out. I have an 08 Sg and was planning on the skull collection. I see that the skull shifter peg says it wont fit on forward controls, and I cant see why it wont. I was hoping someone could solve this. Thanks.

Frog,
I have the skull collection on my 08SG with forward controls and it has been working just fine since January. I have the billet style shifter arm, part #34539-00.

That is definitely a good point, and different is always better. I got the grips as a gift from the ole lady and didnt want them out of place. Figured I would work them with a few low key items, pegs shifter and such. Wont be going overboard with all the items offered.

a few here and there would not look bad... would be cool to have a local engraver take your stock derby cover and maybe tie in the grips and then your name or something... little touches brother that is what makes the bike your own

Great Advice, I will definitely look into something along those lines. Am relatively new to the Harley side, spent most time on sportbikes but havent regretted making the change. As I am finding the opportunities for costumizing are numerous, but can be somewhat confusing as far as what can fit year wise. As always appreciate the help and ideas.
