Default older superglides opinions

Hi guys, about 5000 miles ago I found a good deal in a 2000 superglide. I sold a moto guzzi due to no factory support. I also have a electric glide for touring with my wife. My question is am I missing much with the older dyna in relation to the newer as far as ride, power, ect. I know that after I get off the electric glide and on the SG,I feel like I've changed from a dump truck to a sports car. By the way thanks to the fokes on this forums for all the knowledge and willingness to share.

The SG is made to handle, power can be made with a few mods,You can change the ride by changing the fork oil and the front springs, progessive makes some grate skocks for the rear. The newer bikes got EFI,Fatter tires and more rake. You can get all this from your bike with some work and a big bag of money.

I spent the day on a rented lowrider back in 03 and though its been a couple of years I remember it being a great bike, handleing and performance wise I dont think there is a huge difference between the older and newer ones. The main thing I really like about newer Dynas is the bigger front ends but if I had an older Dyna I dont think I would trade it for a new one, wast of $$...

I agree that I like the newer front ends. That being said I'm not trading mine in for a new one. Just gonna keep on riding this one.
