Default True-Track?

When riding my 08 Street Bob I have noticed a feeling like the rear wheel has just slid over and for a moment is not following the front end. It happens when cornering or doing a sharp lane change. It has happened three or four times. Nothing wrong with the bike, 1100 very easy miles. I ride conservatively and am not crowding the bike. I can see at a high speed or on a wet road that you could loose control if this happened. Is this what True-Track is supposed to cure?

Seems hard to believe that Harley would design and keep selling a model that had a flaw that you have to spend $400 to fix.

Mike,

It is all the more annoying that Erik Buell has built all his bikes with three stabilizers, to cure that very problem. Harley have had access to his expertise for decades!

Dressers have two stabilizers and need a third one under the gearbox. Dynas have only one and need two more, front and rear.

Search for other threads on TrueTrack where you will find more information on fitting the kit. I have them on my dresser and my wife's Dyna. They're great!

Mike,

Just bought my true-trak kit. I'm now waiting for the dealer to finish with my Bike. When I get it back I will install the true-trak. I was having the same problems with mine. I get a little aggresive in the turns just for the thrill. When it start to wobble going thru turns it ain't no fun no more. True-trak has a special offer right now for forum users. 339.00 for the kit. Saves you 60.00 with free shipping. Takes 2 days to get it. Good luck with your ride.
