I like that new paint...it's really going to pop Baeseman1! Did you see the How-to I did on changing out the fuel pumps? Might be worth a look.

You got a little better deal than I did...paid $798 for mine. I wanted a lighter color than the black as my bike sits out at night because I work Midnight shift. In the morning, the dew dries on it along with the dirt and scratched too easily.

Also worked out well for a couple members on here as I sold my tank and rear fender at very affordable prices.

That is still a great price on a factory set of tins. I'm anxious to get mine installed. I had to pay insurance and shipping which brought my total to just a bit under 500.

No, I didn't see your post on how you did your fuel pump. I got a whole fuel pump assembly from the classified section here, so I won't have to remove the old one. Same with the gasket and plate. Now I just need the time...

Your bike looks really good with the new tins. I'm hoping mine will make a significant difference with all the winter mods... Congrats!

I basically did a write up of swapping the guts from one tank to the other...which is what you'll have to do. Make sure you clean out the new tank first.
