I think he mentioned in an earlier thread he was more drawn to these tins because of price, more so than the colors and scheme. I think it looks great and the colors and scheme look right at home on his bike. The price was just a bonus.
I do like the new tins along with the sidemount plate and the Kury tail light.
I did some trimming of the old fender to do that all-in-one plate/light that I had in the stock tail light position and really wanted to go with the LED back there, so it was nice to get a new fender that was intact.
Also always wanted the side mount and the Kury is one of the best looking IMO and the LED laydown is awesomely bright!
I sent Joe my electrical covers and he polished them up like chrome. I need to install them and get pics, but it's too cold! I was originally going to powdercoat them, but he thought this would look better...even though it was more work for him! He's right though, they are going to look great.
As I said before, I probably wouldn't have picked these tins out as my first choice, but the deal was too great...brand new and only
You got tins sitting in a box and have a garage. That just doesn't sound right.
Ha... But you're right - it isn't right. I'm trying to clear the work schedule so I can take a few days and devote it to the bike. Don't want it all apart so long I can't remember how it all goes back together...
In addition to the tins, I have a set of chrome sliders and a headlight to install. While the bike is up on the jack, I'm taking the wheels off to get new tires.
And I don't remember what else wifey doesn't know about yet...
