Default Dyna, Bob, Glide...???

Guys, I'm a Harley Noob. Bought my first ever in Feb 2008 (Black Denim Street Bob w/ VH BR's, Badlander Seat, Kurakyn grips, Willie G all around, and highway pegs). I'm learning a few things here and there. But, can someone recommend a book that explains the names. I have no idea what's the diff between a street glide, wide glide, narrow glide, or bob.

First off, welcome and congrats on your new ride. I'd recommend going to the HD website...it shows all the models and their features.

If you have a J&P Cycles Book in hand, if you go all the way into the back it tells you what every bike means and what each letter/model means as well...Last time i checked anyway..Congrats on the ride and Welcome to the forums..and for asking questions a lot of these guys on this site are good, I have had questions and concerned and everyone has been really helpful with everything I asked

Hey, cool. I'm about six months into Harleydom and I still don't know the letter codes off the top of my head. Thanks!

That was a pretty good article. Explained a few reasons to the madness...
