Default Need some opinions

Thinking about pulling my gas tank off and ditching the red HD decal in light of just a plain gloss vivid black tank with the silver pinstriping. I have asked 6 people and I have a 50-50 split on opinions...what do you all think?

It would look nice but I would still want some type of HD marker on the tank. Just in case you ever want to resell it. They sell better with that hd marker.

How about losing the red decal for the Night Train emblem? Even if you don't go with a different emblem I say lose the decal.

Loose the decal. I'm not so sure about bikes selling better with a HD emblem on the tank. I don't think it makes any difference if an emblem is on the tank or not. I personally don't like them. I know it's a Harley.

I like without, emblems are easier to take off, dont care for the clear coated stickers..

Like JRk said, ist it under the clear sounds like alot of work and money to do something you not sure of.

Anyone good with photoshop that could show you what it will look like?

Yeah, it is under the clearcoat. But that is no big deal just take it off and re shoot the clear coat. I think if I am careful I could leave the pin striping if I don't fubar the black around the decal. Have any of you guys removed the decal under the clearcoat? If so how did you do it? BTW there is a very simple deuce decal that would look awesome IMO

FWIW, my rule of thumb has always been to do custom tins after you crash or drop your bike. But since I quit drinking in 2007 I am way overdue....
