i want to chrome my tank but dont know how to take off the hd emblem.

Just a thought, but when your tank is stripped down to bare metal, it may not look smooth enough to look good chromed. Is your chromer going to be able to do any body work on it before he chromes it? Otherwise, you may be less than thrilled with the result...

Most likely double sided tape, heat it up with a hairdryer and cut the tape with fishing line. I think the reflection on the chrome would suck though, I got a chrome tail piece and that's bad enough.
