Well I rode 90 miles round trip to the dealer today without a jacket. Turns out it was a lot colder than I thought. Picked up a SE stage 1 kit and installed the A/C in about two minutes...piece of cake!
Now comes the Fuelpak...I cannot get that dirty SOB to fit!
Does anyone have any tips or tricks? I'm about to pull the battery box out, but it seems the more I disassemble, the more stuff just gets in the way. I haven't even gotten to programing the damned thing yet. Plus...I don't have a ride until the bike is finished. WTF!
On my 09 I put my PCIII (about the same size) behind the fuse box. I just loosened the bolts and slide the piggyback up to the ECM and hid the PCIII behind there. Tightened everything up and was good.
Thanks guys...I got it. I missed the part about stuffing the connectors where the audible alarm goes. Now I'm wondering if I should finish programing it tonight or not.?. How long does the job take? I'm starting to get sleepy! I need whatever it is that Joe Knapp drinks (or snorts, lol) to keep me up all night working on bikes!
