Default Ecm replacement

Hey all,
Anyone know the steps involved in getting a new ECM put in a 2008 Dyna Fatbob?

ECM & TSSM must be "password learned" at the dealership using the digital technician II (DT-II) so both are "married" to each other. Simple procedure, in & out in 20 minutes.

My tuner thinks that i have a blowen ECM. For the past month he has been trying to tune it. Im using a Power commander on a 103ci motor with 255cams. There is a dead spot between the 3200 and 3500 rpm range. He mentioned this possibility last week friday and i havnt heard anything from him since so i dunno if he just double checkin everything or what.

I'm no Harley expert, but I've been tuning fuel injected cars for years now. Usually if an ecm goes bad, nothing works, and is usually the result of a short. I would check all the sensors and what ever piggy back unit you are using before replacing the ecm.
