Visit from "Brown"
Got the 'old' hard FLH bag brackets, hardware and primary inspection cover in FEDEX today.
Gonna meet up with a friend tomorrow to try to work out a 'work around' so I can get them mounted on my '05 FXDI.
The spaces on the brackets are about 3 or 4 inches too close together and they'll have to go back about an inch from the furthest back setting to clear the shocks. They'll just clear the stock pipes ... shouldn't be too hard to fix ....

Just waiting on Zanotti and all my current project parts will be on hand ....
Got a call from the powdercoater that most of my stuff is ready ... but, not my wheels, yet. Hope they're ready tomorrow, so I can spend some quality time with my Dyna this weekend.
I've made arrangements with a friend to work on making some adapter brackets, tomorrow afternoon.

I know, LOL. That is the one thing that threw me off about it when I bought it (wish it bolted up some other way) but ya know, that skull air cleaner cover is the ONE thing everyone comments about in the positive when they are checking out my scoot.
The reason I like that pic is because it's dark and the screw just looks like a hole in the head.
