I was honestly thinking about adding some carbon but not to that extent. I decided not too because once you start with the carbon it's never ending. Nice stuff!
i got a buddy that makes carbon fiber parts! i have used them on sport bikes i was building in the past but never on a HD... huh never thought of that! may have to go work on some molds wiht him
If they would do the actual components themselves in CF, that would be way cool; not just covering standard parts.
I went on a CF spree on my Ducati. The CF parts replacement shed nearly 30 lbs versus a non CF equipped machine.
That and eating a few less burritos makes a huge difference in the handling of a motorcycle.
A carbon sporty tank would look sweet with the flat side panels. Picture a new Iron with carbon tins. (guess they wouldn't be called tins anymore, maybe carbons)
