This article started out pretty funny - then went into how dangerous motorcycles are - the same stuff we hear probably all the time from friends and family. Fortunately I feel like I ride safe and drive defensively - but an interesting read nonetheless:
WOW. I have never pulled a wheelie on a motorcycle nor would i ever split lanes but hey he seem to know everything about it. Most every motorcycle accident I have seen has been a crotch rocket. But some are harleys too. I myself have been in an accident on my Harley that i used to have and it was not my fault at all but he says it was so maybe the guy coming my direction was mad at the world and wanted to take me out of it....lol Anyway some people just dont know what the hell they are talking about.
Riding a motorcycle has an elevated risk to it...Can't argue, that is a fact. Not neccessarily due to rider error ... Most often it has more to do with the elevated number of dumasses that share the road.
I only know of two fatalities in my small little itty bitty world that was due to driver error (rider hit a rock cut ... no other traffic around at the time), and (rider (a very close friend of ours) hit a median at an intersection, because (or at least we think it was because) he was wearing sunglasses at dusk and simply didn't see it split lanes at the mouth of an intersection ... All of the other accidents I know of were direct the result of other drivers errors. The most common one was "I didn't see him until he was right in front of me". Pfffttt! Simply put, people who drive other modes of transportation have difficulty comprehending what they are seeing ... especially if it's a motorcyclist. I don't know why that is.

It all just goes back to, "if I had to explain you wouldn't understand"
Let's face it does "Mr Diesel" sound like a guy we'd want to hang out with?
He's just another bitter person who thinks it's easier to pass the blame on the majority than the minority, like most our our liberal country...
