I did. I used Aircraft Decal Remover but there are plenty of other brands of decal remover that should work. Go to your local auto parts store and see what they got.

I have read of guys using a heat gun to aid in pulling it off. That would be my choice just because paint and decal remover is nasty stuff.

Be careful, the same guys that can arrest you for removing the tags off your pillows might come after you if you take decals off your scooter. LOL

I removed mine as well as the one on the engine guard. First heat with a hair dryer and peel away slowly and with patience. Remove the remaining gluey stuff with WD-40 or engine cleaner. Takes about 5-10 min.

don, heated mine (I think there are three)
peeled off intact, put them in an envelope and saved them.

then I tried to get the Objects Are Closer lettering off the mirrors.
No success, and that pissed me off.

So I went in the house and ripped the tag off the mattress.

Problem there. I have a WaterBed.

I was arrested, Federal Offense you know.

When I made bail, mildew had set in
and now I live in the shop.
