Default Front end ideas?

Bike is sitting at the dealer waiting for estimate and claims adjuster etc for front end damage. This is gonna cost me minimum of $1000 for my deductable, probly more cause Im sure State Farm is gonna short me for the damages so Im thinking if I have to throw some money in to it I want to at least change something on the bike to make it look a lil different. The front wheel is probly going to get replaced, its pretty damn bent and at 10k the rear is about ready for some new ruber so im thinking new wheels, maybe have the stock wheels powdered i dont know I really like Thunderstars but HD says they only fit up to 05. Just wondering what you guys think would look good without breaking the bank. Also thinking if the front end has to come off to replace trees/forks maybe powdering the whole front in black or would that look stupid on my scoot? Anyway throw your ideas at me and well figure it out...

Doing the black thing wouldn't look bad because 95% of your motor is black but then that means probably going from front to back blacking things out to keep the flow.

Ya thats what I was thinking, thing is I dont think I want to do the strutcovers in black cause with the detacth sissy bar I got Ill probly end up scratching them at somepoint and I kinda like the brushed finish on the stock ones.

i think if you balcked out the lowers and the trees the same color as the frame that would look really good. with the rims, you could keep the spokes and have eithe the spokes powdercoated and not the rim or visa versa, either would look cool. if yr going for a different style rim, don't go to radicle becasue yr bike is not that radicle and it won't fit (thats not an insult by the way).

Agree 100%. Plus I dont want to spend 1200 bucks a wheel on a stock Dyna. 500 a wheel is about my limit. So I guess Im thinking have the stock rims and hubs done in black, then laced up with stainless spokes and then do the front end in black and maybe black bars as well. I just dont want it to end up looking goofy. The black stuff looks fantastic with black or denim tins. Front fender is wasted, maybe I should just have the whole bike painted

Replace the entire front end with a Harley springer and wide-glide wheel/tire. That would be different - and awesome..!

What about having them use Fat Bob trees, forks and fender the powder coating the trees to match? Use a wide spoked wheel for a Fat Bob tire?
