california gets a bad wrap for cracking down on a whole bunch of stuff but we don't do state inspections and nobody gives a crap about how loud your bike is. Also, we do have to wear helmets, but the cops look the other way on novelty helmets, as long as you have one, it's fine.
Is there even going to be a Myrtle Beach rally? Isn't that the one where the city passed all these "local" ordinances to essentially lock the bikers out?
Just as an FYI, I just looked up the Vance and Hines website and they claim that the quiet baffles will bring it down 2-3 db's.
I've got the straightshots with the quiet baffle, and a friend east of me on the forum here also, also installed quiet baffles. He had a db meter, and showed me the video of it...... I'll try to find it here in a few minutes....
