Default New Handlebars

I'm looking for some suggestions on new handlebars. I'm a female, 5'5" tall with shorter arms. I'm not fond of the mini apes on my '06 Street Bob because it seems like I'm really streching to reach them and I don't really like the higher bars. I had a pull back riser put on but it still is not comfortable. I've been considering putting street slammers on. Anybody have suggestions of other bars to look at? Thanks!

I have a set of stock Low Rider bars - they should be shorter and better reach than the stock Street Bob bars.

Also have stock cables and brake line.

Pm if you're interested.

both of the above bars would work well... as well as a set of pull backs or even dog bone risers that would allow you to move them as close or as far as you need. i would look at some stock nightster bars, they are great and have a enough of a rise and pull back to be comfortable... you have a ton of options out there... let me know if you need any hlep

I have a friend that just took the bars off of his FXD to put SB bars on it, and he has the cables from them as well. I am sure he wouldn't mind giving them up. Let me know and I'll talk to him.

I’ve had stock lowrider bars on my Street Bob and found them to be way more comfortable then the stock bars. Plus, you can usually find them cheap for around $40. I actually may go back to them myself!

Default bars

I put heritage bars on my lowrider. They brought the grips back and up from the stock fxdl bars. I love the riding position. I also have lowrider bars and cables for sale if you want them.

You may be able to get that extra reach with a different seat too. In fact I think it's even called the Reach seat avail from HD.

Thanks for all the ideas! I think i'm going to go w/ some street slammers and the dog bone risers. If that doesn't help I'll be trying some more of your suggestions!

wooooh you can not do that! Street slammers have built in risers... the dog bones will not work. your going to have to go with the dog bones and some pull back drags to get that look
street slammers

what you would have to do:
