Default Power Commander V input.

Hey all,

I was wondering if those of you who are running a PC can give me some input on how it runs for you? I have an 07 Street Bob and have been throught the gamet on what to do with my set up. Rush slipons 1.75 baffles SE stage 1 filter kit with no HD down load. I started with the Fuel pack and did not like the way my bike ran with it. After many hours of exhaustive searching I went with the XIED's and they seem to work well with my setup. Bike runs good and cool but I know it will run better with something else I hope. That is where I am turning to all of you who have a PC. Any input will help me make my decision on buying a PC-V for my Bob.

Thanks for the help,
Joe

I have a 09 Super Glide and I installed a PC V with the Rush 1.75" Slip-ons and I have the HD Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather. I installed the Power Commander map for that setup # 005 I think. It ran good with just that done to it but I wanted it as good as it could get, so I had my dealer done a tuning link tune on it and it runs a lot smoother. It doesn't even feel like a V-Twin when at highway speeds. And it pulls really nice at 65-75 mph when you twist it open. I'm happy with it. Of course the mileage went down with it also.

Just got the PCV a few weeks ago..I have a Heavy Breather, PCV, and V&H BR..Setup is really simple to install as long as you follow all the directions..After I got it all installed I took it for a ride, now in my mind the bike was completely different, it ran flawlessly, I also had it out sunday and all day long it was awesome..I will however check the plugs and see what they look like though..the MAP Jamie at FUELMOTO put in for me seems to be very good..someday I will take it to the dealer to get it FINE tuned but not soon it runs good as it is...Def check out Jamie at FUELMOTO... www.fuelmotousa.com i think the site is, and as far as I know hes the only person that supports the PCV for 04-08 dynas

I can't help you out on the PCV but I will second going to fuelmotousa.com if you plan on picking one up. Have used them several times when I was into sport bikes, wish I would have used them again when I changed my setup last year

I have D&D slip-ons, Big Sucker and the PCV. All I can compare the way the bike runs is to how it was stock since I did all of the above at the same time. Like stated in the above post, my mpg seems to have gone down. But the the bike is running much cooler and silky smooth. All in all, since I dont plan on doing much, if any, engine work, I'm VERY happy with the PCV.

I have an 07 FXDWG
V&H BSS, with extended tips, not baffles [ just lolly Pops] HD heavy Breather
Have the PC III from Jammie @ fuel motto . Only had one burp. I left a mesage, in less than 30 minutes He actually called me back and gave me a quick easy fix.
Buy what you like, but for me Nothing better

I have put on 500 miles so far with my PC-V, The map from Fuel Moto seems to be right on, low speed surging is gone, throttle response is great. I don't think I have lost much fuel mileage wise, I put a new pipe on at tha same time and have been heavy on the throttle because I like listening to the pipe, I am sure the mileage is worse but it doesn't seem too bad, I still can go 150 miles before filling up.
