Looking to get a complete hand control kit for the 06 Superglide. But they have some kind of measurement and i dont know exactly what it means some have 9/16 control kit and seen some 11/16 kit what is the measurement for? Look below you can see how these are listed, and does anyone know what the stock ones are?
No problem... About getting a solo seat though.... don't IMHO.... The seat you have works perfect with your bikes lines. I myself would rather have a fastback style seat over my solo and pillion.
The 9/16 & 11/16 is referencing the bore of the cylinder. Amazing it takes 9/16" for one disc yet just a mere additional 2/16" to handle dual disc. Doesn't make sense to me at all.
Thanks......i would never get rid of the seat just kinda wanted the long clean fender look now that i got the side mount tag.....swapped out my VH Fuelpak....for a PcIII yesterday Amazing difference!! Ordered complete Chrome hand controls today, and having my tripple tree's,shift and brake levers powdercoated first of next week.
Oh yeah i got a Fuelpak for sale on the Dyna parts for sale section...if anybody is interested.
Fuqua - the install went easy I assume? I blacked out my controls too, it;s the way to go for sure. Your trees will look sick blacked out! I want to get mine done so bad, I just dont want to sacrifice any riding time! It's goin down though this summer during football camp when i am busy and it's 115 degrees outside...
