get some 1/2" square bar stock from tsc (farmer supply store) or maybe lowes. cut a 2, 4-5 inch length off the end. drill and tap for your peg mounting bolt so it goes down the middle of the bar stock. then go buy 2 shifter pegs (if using stock pegs) or heel rests they sell in pairs (which are good cause they have a right and left so your graphix are facing the same direction). line up the heel rest so the back edge is flush with the other end of the bar stock, the end thats not tapped. then mark for the heel rest mounting bolt, drill and tap. paint and install with loctite. i'll try and get a picture or diagram if you can quite picture it. you may have to bend one side ever so slightly to make them feel even when you put your feet on it (i had to bend the left side to match with the right).
cost of 2 stock shifter peg... couldnt be but 5-10 bucks each.
or
a skull heel rest kit... like 25-30 bucks
and
1/2 bar stock... about 10 bucks for 3 or 4 feet (if you screw one up, like i did, you have plenty left to make another and some for friends if they like it)
