Does anyone know if you can fit the stock exhaust from a fat bob onto a superglide?

Yes. You have to remove the mounting brackets for the stock FXD exhaust system, then install the mounting bracket for the Fat Bob exhaust system. Once you do that, the Fat Bob headers and mufflers will bolt right on.

Excellent. Thanks much Gary. I love how that exhaust looks but didn't know how much work it would be. When you say the mounting bracket you are referring to the "bar" mounted to the trans and pipes correct?

The bar that connects to the muffs doesn't connect to anything else. There is a bracket that bolts to the transmission case that secures the rear header and one that bolts to the engine case that secures the front header. Those have to be removed, and the Fat Bob exhaust bracket can then be installed.

You need to get a service manual for you bike before you tackle this.
