I have an 08 Fatbob with V/H shortshots with quiet baffles. I also have S/E Stage one air cleaner on it. I am using a Power Comm. V. Does anyone know what the engine temp. should be reading when hooked up to the computer, while the bike is at idle.

Noy sure but the longer it idles with no air flow the hotter it will get!

 

Hi, I have the power commander V too with the auto tune.... Recently I was making an economical map for my sportster, AFR 14.6 (Harley stock ratio) and I came in off a ride and the Engine temp was 295, that was after I ran into the house and got the laptop, so it prob dropped a bit.

I have shortshots and a SE heavy breather.

I will check again when I'm running the normal performance map as it dumps in the full. What temp does yours read when you come off a highway drive?

Does anybody here know at what temperature "PARADE" mode kicks in? How do you recognize when it's kicked in?

 

You will notice that it will only be idling on one cylinder.
