Default Baaaaad vibes

Man, I don't know what's gone wrong but something definitely has. Yesterday I went for a nice ride after work. My destination was about 50 miles away. By the time I got there, my hands were painfully numb. Realized there are some serious vibes coming through grips. I didn't notice that vibration on Saturday when my girl and I went for a 250 mile ride. Maybe something on my front end has settled in and now it's causing a problem. I can't ride more than 30 minutes before my hands hurt because they are so numb.

By the time I got home, the suspension felt like it's hitting rock bottom. Its gotten so hard. Saturday it was nice. I loosened the rear up a bit for my girl. Yesterday started out just fine but as the ride progressed, it just seems like it all went to crap.

I may contact my dealer and let 'em check it out. I just don't have the time to wrestle with it.

Any ideas?

(I got my Intiminators on monday but left my jack at home and although I thought about using my truck jack and a 2x6, I felt that was playing with fire. I'll try to get 'em in this weekend.)

SC,
Wished I had the answer, only this I can do if toss in some ideas. My first guess would be the front motor mount is toasted. Another idea would be could you have lost the weights on your wheel that may have it now not balanced?
Well hope I could be of some help.

What was the temperature difference between the two rides?

I guess I would check the motor mounts first...

I've thought about the motor mounts. I have just broke 15k miles. Who knows. Maybe I'll give a look/see when I get home today.

I had mentioned temperature also, 'cause it seems like I notice the vibrations a lot more when it's cooler out. I chalk that up to the tuning so far.

Sorry, I complete forgot to respond to that part of your question. Saturday was dang near 90* and yesterday was mid 60's with a BAM! of rain.

Its just strange. My bike usually runs much better when it's cooler. By the time I got home, the suspension felt like a rock, the vibes were kickin my azz and the motor definitely seemed to loose some pep. I was constantly having to shift to stay reasonably within the powerband. Something is definitely going on. It was a completely different bike between the time I left the house and the time I got home.

Vic,
When you had your front end apart last weekend did you have any parts left over? But seriously, did you go with a heavier fork oil than you're used to?
