Default Strong vibrations

Hey guys,
Quick question..when I slow down and either with the bike in netural or with the clutch in I get a teeth shaking vibration. I have no problem with normal riding just when I slow down when coming to a stop. Is this normal?
Thanks
Tim

Depends on what you call teeth shaking? Harley's will have vibration on the handle bars at idle or really slow speeds. This is normal. I guess the 09's have taken some of this shake out, but my 08 makes the mirrors shake at a stop sign, the minue I move it is a smooth as glass.

Does it just happen as it is dropping down to idle speed then kind of smooths out? That is what mine does.

I get a bit of vibration coasting up to a stop, but that's using engine braking (down shifting)

HA! I had my FatBob in the shop for that exact complaint today !! Mine is intermittent at parking lot speeds, clutch in and smooth as silk, let out clutch and it's like the belt and pulley are out of pitch, heck of a vibration. Dealer says couldn't find a thing, new oil in primary and away I go... Hopefully whatever it is fails before next July 1 when my warranty expires

If you ever rode a pre 2004 Sporty you would think the Dyna runs like a caddy.
