Default wheel hub question

Got a question guys............will a 2008 street bob front wheel hub (which has a 1" axle) fit on my 07 street bob (which also has a 1" axle)? Just want to be sure before I drop the coin on it................thanks!

Yes, 06,07,08 and 09 are all the same except the 09 wheels are black.

Be careful as I think in 08 they changed from 1" axles to 25mm (slightly smaller)

But even if they did switch to a 25mm axle, couldn't he just replace the bearings in the wheel to match his axle? Surely they didn't rework all of their equipment for a .4mm change in size of axle.

That's what I thought. New bearings are much cheaper than a new wheel!

Don't skimp when you buy bearings. You really do get what you pay for and if you've ever had one seize up going down the road you know it's not pretty.
