Default Reinstalling Baffles??

OK- im not too mechanically inclined. I recently purchased a street bob w/ v&h strait shot slip-ons. Previous owner had removed baffles. I'm trying to reinstall them. I have no directions so I'm doing my best. I just pushed 'em on in and tried to line up the screw holes. It's definately pretty stiff getting them in and im having trouble screwing with the allen key I have which is short (standard). I am doing this correctly? Should i be removing something else? should i be using a longer allen key i dont know about.

thanks in advance for any help

Just to make sure.... you do have the heat shield removed... right? Which means the muffler is going to need to be off the bike to do this.

Length of the allen wrench should not be a factor in inserting the bolt.

It'll be hard to turn the screws if your holes are almost but not quite lined up. Also put a little loose nut or liquid wrench in there tolube the carbon build up.

You will need to also adjust the fuel management system after re-installing the baffles...

I doubt the person that pulled them tuned it for no baffles. My guess is it has no aftermarket tuner.

If you have no popping on decel or backfiring....check your plugs after 100 miles and if they look nice and brown no carbon or any other black residue or glassy or burned to a crisp your good! I'm joking check them but you should be fine.
Congrads by the way I got my new full system on three weeks ago and changed for the quiet baffles 1 week ago.
