I have Craftsman. They do the job just fine. I wouldnt use harbor freight ones. I tend to break too many things from them.

I have a Snap on torque wrench. After breaking a cheap one I decided to suck it up and spend the money on a good quality tool. I do not buy all Snap-on stuff, but i figure a torque wrench is sort of important .

My Foot LB one is a Husky that I have had for years. They are pretty cheap I think but never had any issues with mine.

My Inch lb is a Craftsman, bought it after getting the Harley.

Same here. Day after Thanksgiving 50% off. Black Friday my style... My pockets aren't deep enough for Snap-On, Mac, etc...

The Craftsman torque wrenches have been serving me will for years.

Yes you will need two,one for foot lb.& one for inch lb. try to get something decent.

Started off with Craftsman 3/8" drive 5-75 ft/lbs and 1/2" 25-250 ft/lbs bought from Sears at half price. Used them in the shop for about 6 months until the 1/2" had some issues. Luckily Sears replaced it for me. Moved those 2 to the home garage and went with Snap-on tech angles in the same ranges plus a clicker 40-? in/lbs. Can't remember the upper end range of the clicker cuz I'll just use the 3/8" drive one if it get thats high. Didn't really need the angle deal, but my rep let me have 'em for the price of the standard ones. No problems with any of the 3 in 18 months of fairly heavy use. It is nice being able to switch from ft/lbs to in/lbs (and newton/meters although I've yet to need that setting) with the push of a button but that's just me saving time.

If you are getting them for personal use I'd go with Sears, If you are going to be using them several times a day, I'd get the Snap-On.

I have a craftsman ft/lb wrench and most in/lb stuff I just go by feel.
