I havent hit the rev limiter since buying new in 2006 and within the last 2 weeks did it 3 times in 2nd gear. Any ideas? Besides shift sooner.TY

put one of those:

http://www.powercommander.com/powerc...r_iii_usb.aspx

This will give you the ability to have an increased rev limit over stock without having to modify the bike's ECM...

when I hit my limiter, it is almost always 2-3 up shift, I don't know why, but I sometimes keep pressure on the shifter with out letting it ratchet back down so when I go to bang 3rd nothing happens, pisses me off every time

Clutch is fine (I hope),and yes I have been riding alot harder lately and as long as it doesnt hurt when I hit the limiter I will cool it for a while and see how she acts. I have a SE Race Tuner going in that should help, right?

Should be able to set what RPMs you want to limit it to with the SERT.
