Default oil drain plug

can some one please tell me where the oil drain plug is on a 2003 fxdl

Not sure but it might be on a tube hanging down that is on a plug and hose clamp to hold it there. Check that.

The oil drain is on the side of the pan on the left side. The trans is on the bottom on the right.

The engine oil drain plug is on left side of of the trans oil/eng oil pan. Using the jiffy stand as a reference look underneath about six inches back, you'll see a hex plug with allen wrench fitting in the head of the plug. The transmission oil drain plug is on the right side with the plug facing down.

Engine oil plug is always on the jiffy stand side on Dynas and Baggers.

That's a good way to remember it.... You don't know how many times I drained the trans when trying to change the motor oil

always good info to know before hand.. I hate draing my tranny instead of cases. been there done that.
