Joe- Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!! Can you make some minor modifications to the forkbag stereos? Specifically, with my new 1/4 fairing, I'd have to attach the bag below the lower tree (in front of the fork gaiters.) Can the angle of the speakers be adjusted for a slight upward output of sound with some top perforatrions to accomodate the flow of sound? Also, can you install SAE connectors with covers (like on battery tenders) to allow for the use of my alreading existing battery tender lead? And lastly, how would these changes affect the price of your product?
ya i am sure we can work it out to work like that... i still think that you have plenty of room to tuck it back behind the fairing though, that is where i would want to stash it!
You might be right. I guess it depends on the dimensions of the bag and how rigid the bag is when its "loaded." What I mean is, whether or not it can be manipulated to fit into the area behind the speedometer. Here are some more pics. Let me know what you think. I've jammed t-shirts and a small jacket in that area, but I didn't think the bag would fit there. If its a tight enough fit, I might not even have to mount it and it would still be quite secure. Absolutely, for the best and loudest sound, it would make sense for the bag to be behind the fairing blasting my face with decibels.
