Default Rush Slip ons

I just had rush slip ons put on my 07 street bob. I would like for it to be louder i wanted to have the baffles removed however the dealer said that it would not be recommended because i would lose to much back pressure. My question to everyone is, is this true or is that just something a dealer would say? Should i remove them or not ? Opinions please

yup back pressure is good.......you can run em open if you really want to; it'll run like crap but it shouldn't hurt anything

What size baffle is installed? There are 4 different ones, 1.50 -1.75 - 2.00 - 2.25. If you already have the largest one then you are going to have to be creative other wise you go with a larger diameter one.

Yes it's true, would sound louder but your back pressure would be crap so you would loose torque/power..

I got the really open Rush slipon's and I noticed a loss of back pressure, this year I will
be replacing them with a 2 into 1....

That's why some people get the smaller open baffles, i think the 1.5 or 1.75....
think i got 2.75 (not sure of the exact number sized baffles)...

But sounds really good, and I've been really happy with them, best bang for the buk and
i would probably sell them for what i paid for them since i bought them used.

You can try replacing them with BCT baffles. There have been a lot that have been happy with them. If I remember right I read in one of the BCT threads that they are designed to be loud, but perform as well.
