Talking Forward Controls Installation - Check!
Thank you to all on this forum for the great advice for installing FC's and a special thanks to WS6 Formula for the very detailed posts re: the installation process. Even right down to taping a wrench onto one side of the hacksaw blade.

Took me about 45 min of cutting with a few breaks. The whole install took just under 3 hours of effort and was very easy! Used the stock shifter has recommended. very nice short shift.

Your forwards look good. Installing them on my bike was the best thing I did for leg comfort. Be carefull the first time you try them out, that you don't plant your feet where the mids used to be. Please don't ask me how I know!!

I love my forward controls, best thing I did for my street bob yet. yours looks really nice.

Which setup did you do? The older Kit with a different linkage? Or did you use the linkage that came with the older kit? I noticed the FC's are black, if its the older kit is black available?

It's the HD kit in black for a 2009 FXDB. I used the linkage that came with the kit.
