So I'm a bit torn and would like to hear some views/advice.
I'm pretty content with the way my bike runs/rides right now. My currrent mods are:
Slip on's, SE stage 1 AC, PC-V.
I think my next set of mods should be in the appearance department...
since my bike is an 09, of course I'm dealing with the silver motor. I really like the way Tweakin' has his setup with the chrome kit and figured that would be the route I would take.
However, there is a full set of wrinkle black parts off an 06 for dirt cheap on ebay right now and figured I'd ask if anyone put the black on their silver engine. Pics would be great. Maybe it would not look as good chrome...or am I wrong?
I plan to have the fork sliders/triple trees blacked out (I have a friend that does PC and he said he'd hook me up). I bought a vertical plate holder (my plates just shipped today) and I'm going to cut off the factory junk and paint my factory light denim black too.
Is there any other direction I should look at? My future plans include doing a WG front end, 21/18" wheel combo and maybe some sort of 2 up seat/sissy bar setup for the miss...although she wants her own bike which is fine by me!
