Question 2009 fxdc shake???
Hello all,just bought a 2009 fxdc,installed street slammer bars,forward controls,python staggered duals,PC-V,high flow a/c.My question is just off idle there is a lot of shaking through the handlebars,fork area at a slow riding speed,this does not bother me as i realize these bikes have some shaking and vibration,and at 30 mph or above it is fine,i just wondered if anyone else has this or is something wrong??? Thanks

Mine gets pretty smooth soon as you get on the gas.

A bad tune can cause excessive vibration and also if you over torqued your new bars that can cause some as well.

Did you also happen to get the stage.1 map downloaded to your bike? I ask, because the stage.1 map made my FXDC shake like a bitch....

Mine vibrates, i would think normal. I have recently put in the VH quiet baffles in the python staggered duals and it vibrates a lot less. It also sounds frickin awesome!

mine shakes shimmys and rolls but if you give her more throttle she jumps right up and smooths out.

thanks everyone,seems from what i have read its just the nature of the beast!! I will just ride it,bberck,i work up in fredericktown ,just about 50 miles from ya!!
