I'm thinking of painting the darker area of my FXDI Vivid Black stock mag wheels either a primed black or a glossy black just to be different... Anyone done it..?? If so got any pic's..?? I know powder coating would be the way to go... bet that would be big $$$$... What do ya think...??[sm=biker2.gif]
Can't go wrong with black. My powder coater runs black, white and yellow almost everyday so those colrs are pretty cheap. You might want to check around but I have always found powder to be cheaper than paint.
Yep, if you get in on a standard color run, it's pretty cheap. Local coaters here don't do any prep work though. Have to have it completely prepped and cleaned when you drop it off.
