Right Blinker Problem Fixed
I started by pulling the TSSM, and unplugging the connector. The schematic at the back of the Service Manual showed GROUND on pin 12, LEFT-OUT on pin 5, and RIGHT-OUT on pin 6. I pulled all four bulbs from the blinkers to isolate the circuit from GROUND.

Measuring from pin 12 to pins 5 & 6 showed pin 5 (LEFT) open to GROUND, and pin 6 (RIGHT) shorted to GROUND.

My meter has a "beep" continuity function, so I turned it on. That way, if I wiggled a wire and heard the beep stop, I'd know where the problem was. I unplugged the connectors inside the tail light to no effect; likewise the rear harness connector under the seat. Wiggling the handlebar bundles had no effect either. I decided to pull the dash console, and as I loosened the right side screw, the beeping quit. Once underneath, I found the wire bundle going to the indicator lamps module had been pinched between the console stand-off and the mounting ear.

I fixed the pinched wire, routed it around the stand-off, remounted the console, and plugged the bulbs and TSSM back in. All is right with the world again!

The confidence from the Jeep fix fed on itself and saw me thru this fix, as well. Two in a row now; ready to tackle that Arab/Israeli mess in the middle-east, or at least HealthCare Reform.
