I'm looking at putting one on my wide glide. Just not sure if they are worth the money. Any opions would be appreciated.

 

I put one on a '97 WG because I got it real cheap. Didn't seem to make a noticable change.

 

I don't have one on mine, and I've heard they don't make much difference.

 

I, too, heard there's not much difference. The new SE brace for 06 wide glides are pretty costly too. I saw that I couldn't install it with the chrome dust covers/fork sliders...or maybe just dust covers (don't remember). Either way, I'll do without....even though they do look pretty cool.

They definitely tighten up the feel in the front end. You'll notice it more the more aggressively you ride.

 

I would have to give up some chrome to do that as you cannot install the brace with chrome form covers. I'm not willing to give up any chrome at this time.
