Seriously though...be careful with the spider web and placement... rumor has it that web on the elbow has a "I've done serious time" connotation or something like that.

Haha yeah, I've heard a couple different things. It won't be going on the elbow for sure. Probably my upper right arm, close to my shoulder.
It's pretty common for inmates to get web tats on the shoulders or elbows. Doesn't really mean anything other than being stuck/tangled in something and can't get out. (This could mean several things, drug/alcohol addiction, gang/thug life, prison, etc..Not something you're going to get your *** kicked over.)
thats sick. Just the skull without the spiders is decent. Its like a spirit pushing through a web. A good placement is starting from the edge of the upper arm wrapping aroung the shoulder blade. You definately need a flat surface. yeah Spiders give me the creepys too. I spent plenty of time in the Domenican Rep. They have some big ones.
That is a pretty cool design but i am not sure it would work as well as you think the way it is put together. Maybe if you reverse it to where the background is you skin or a nice light grey wash and the web and spiders are using the black ink it would translate a little better. The problem is that the negative space used to create the web may collapse in on itself and leave you with a big black blob on your arm. Secondarily, even if you could do it that way, it may cost a crapload more money than 200 bucks because all of the background would have to be colored in solid black (which takes alot of time---->which, in business, translates into alot of money). Deltoid placement should work pretty good if upper arm is where you are going. The shape of the overall web can be molded there nicely. Congrats on the win. Sorry I missed this thread. Been tied up with moving and packing recently.
