I have a 2008 SuperGlide Custom. I finally sprung the money for a new set of HD reaper wheels. I supposedly got all the hardware necessary when I ordered them. The front wheel kit, the rear wheel kit, and the floating rotor as recommended by the dealer and the HD website. Something has got to be missing... The rotor does not have the center part, how is it suppose to attach? Did they not send everything? Here is the pics please give a little insight...
Nice wheel. It's early yet, but have you installed the wheel bearing yet. That goes in that hole in the middle and axle goes into that after. There will be a groove on one side that shows which side it's pressed in from. Also your supposed to use new bolts to attach the rotor(don't use your old ones) to insure proper torque on the new bolts.
From the pic, it looks like all that is missing are the bolts to mount the rotor and the bearings in the wheel. I hope you are planning to replace the bearings and not transplant your old ones? If not, I recommend it. Higher quality bearings are not that expensive. Also, I'd recommend getting polished rotors front and back or have your existing rotors polished. Looks much better with chrome wheels. If your wheel kits didn't come with chrome spacers, I'd recommend those too.

If he has FXDC, he probably has spokes and a floating front rotor so probably none of that is interchangeable anyway. I made the same type swap and had to change to the same kind of rotor. I had the rotor sent out for polishing and used all new hardware. I also swapped out my stock rear rotor with my indy for a polished version of the same. Used chrome spacers front and back and then chrome hot toppers for the bolts because I could find nowhere that anyone sells the front rotor bolts for that type of rotor in chrome versions. HD only sells chrome bolts for the floating rotor.
The kit comes with all new bolts. 2007fxdc doe you have a pic of your rotor since you had to do the same thing? Please post it if you do, I just need to see how it is suppose to look...
