You''re not alone...I have the same problem with my high beam. I'm going to get a new headlamp kit soon so I haven't bothered to do anything about it yet. Some good tips on this thread though.

IMO high beams on a single headlamp unit will just give a stronger light because highs and lows use the same reflector. I have a Euro (HDI) FXDF which has independent dual headlamps. The headlamps alternate and never went on together (until I rewired them). The high beam headlamp has specific purpose reflector for high beam only and that thing project light much further and higher up. My 0.02.
