Default Kickstand help

After I changed my shocks the bike is standing to upright and wants to fall over when the wheel is straight and not turned to the left. I know I need a shorter kickstand but what is the best why to go. I beleive my stock shocks on the FXDX where 13" and I went to 11.5". My old ground clearance (GC) was 5.9" not sure what it is now. Do you think the kickstand from the lowrider would work or would I need to find something after market that is even shorter? The lowrider GC on the 05 is 4.6". any help would be appreciated.

The lowrider kickstand would help a little but you really shouldnt have a problem as long as you turn your wheel when on the stand. I have 11" shocks and have never had a problem.

Tony,
You will likely want to switch to a stand for a low rider. My wife has an 06 Lowrider and it seemed to really lean to the left even too much for my liking. Anyway, I installed 11 inch Progressive shocks on the bike last week and now it leans just fine. A little straighter, easier to pick up off the stand. If the lowrider stand will work fine in my application I don't know why it wouldn't work for you.
