I just noticed that my hazard flashers do not come on when the ignition is set to ACC mode. My instument panel backlight works and my brake lights can be activated but engaging the hazard lights does nothing. They used to work in ACC mode and work fine in RUN mode.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is it possible the ignition system is defective or should I test the fuses and trace the electrical map?

so if you put the flashers on with the ignition turned on and then turn the ignition off do the flashers also turn off?

 

Yes, if ignition is set to off then all accessories shut off. They just just no longer turn on when the key is turned to the ACC position.

 

Well, the flashers should be working with the ignition off.

STill under warranty??, take it to the shop.

 

I think my warranty is expired. It probably expired just prior this problem, since Ive had none with this bike in 3 years till now.

 

That would be my experience.....
