Default DYNA History.

I've been trying to find out why a Dyna is called a Dyna. In 1991 the first one of it's class came out. But I can't seem to find out why it was called what it is. Does anyone know? I'm just curious I geuss. Pat 06 FXDCI

Named after one of the owners mistress! Dinah, but they changed it to Dyna, so not too obviuos.

All good options.

I was guessing because it was the Dyna-mic new addition to the family.

As best as I can remember the 1991/92 FXDB models had this new computer designed chassis with a square section backbone and new rubber engine mounts. Can't remember all the details, but I'll find out more when I go back to NC. A neighbor next to my parents has one in mint condition.
