Tons of choices, check your state laws regarding height, some have restrictive laws. Mine are perfectly legal in VA, but illegal in MD and DC, it only matters where it is registered.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.

That brings up a good point. Texas law says that the bars cannot be 15" above the seat. Well the problem with that is that when I bought my bike new with the 10" mini apes the bars were already over that allowed limit from the dealer. I have never been pulled over or no of anyone who has been pulled over for this here in Texas but it sounds as though maybe the dealers really aren't up to speed on all local laws.

Just dont mix pullback riser with apes, like brown shoes and a black suit...lol. You could go for the outlaw look and get some tall t-bars instead. Or even more cool.... 8" straight risers with some v-rod nightrod handlebars(black of course).

Tall risers with mini-apes would look silly. The stock risers for the oem mini-apes are about 2 1/4". I wouldn't necessarily go above that regarding aesthetics, but that's just me.

Godammit ghostrider, you should be banned. I can't read any of your posts because of that avatar of yours. Stop it already, I think I need glasses now.

I was just banned the other day. But it wasn't because of my avatar.
