Default Cheap *** mods

Because I'm a cheap (and creative and slightly artistic) muthah-puppahh!!

Seriously though, choppin's about getting rid of stuff, not boltin' expensive chrome on. Anybody can do that.

So exhibit A is black derby cover, some RUB's throwaway got for cheap on Ebay for $5, made the stencil mahself. It says "Infected", which is kinda my bike's name. It's from MACBETH. I'm an English teacher and a Shakespeare freak. When Macbeth finds out he's been duped by the witches, he curses them saying, "Infected be the air whereon they ride!" So I'm like PERFECT! Couldn't think of a better description for the air once I pass through it.

Exhibit B The Bar and Shield badge came off a sissy bar on some AMF POS. Retro aged and sick. Prebent and glued it on with PL400 industrial adhesive. Bang. Cheap! Sweet.

"It's not so much sayin this is my bike as it sayin This is not YOUR bike."

Ride on boys, ride on.

Pretty damn cool. I like cheap, too.
My next mod is removing my tank badges.
I think your bike would look better with a neked tank.
Make the derby cover stand out more, too.

Hey fellas

Seat is a "throwaway" stock two up seat off a 2007 Dyna. Again, off Ebay for like $45. Sells at the stealership for $350. Really, Ebay is your friend. So many guys want to "customize" their ride right off the show room floor so they flog all their brand new chit and bolt on Le Pera. Sorry, I didn't have any money left over. I spent my last penny on a no frills 96" Dyna. No options, no alarm, nothin. It was all I could afford. But I sure as hell was not gonna ride no Sporty. You can only do that for so long, before you want the other half of the bike. :>

You may do whatever you want to your bike... as long as you like it.

"Mods" are not just removing stuff from the bike... of which you didn't.... you added two things... not removed them. .... sorry dude, that doesn't add up to " choppin' "

First time I ever heard that phrase: "It's not so much sayin this is my bike as it sayin This is not YOUR bike."

... I know it's not my bike... my bike doesn't have cheap *** mods on it. So if I can afford to put some nice chrome on my bike, of which I like.... what business is it of yours?
