2008 street bob is what i got noticed it today. when the engine is running the front blinker lights are lit, the bak are not. yet all four blinkers work correctly when the turn signal button is pressed any ideas why the rear lights arent lighting up?

 

That's normal operation.

You can buy something to actually convert the back lights to come on...I got it...helps for others to see you

 

can anyone help with what wire to disconnect to turn off the marker lights?

For a Dyna 2003 Domestic model it's a blue wire; for 2003 HDI models it's orange/white wire.

Not shure if the wiring on your bike is the same.....
