Default THUNDERHEADER Install

New to forum, but have read some threads on how much of pain thunderheader 2-1 is to install. But got heck of a good deal on one, so I jumped on it. Would greatly appreciate any tips before I tackle this job, to make it somewhat less painful. Its gonna be hung on 2006 FXDB.

they dont mount too bad but watch where the center clamp holds the pipe that is where I had 2 of them crack at. got sick of fixing them so I just went with a different pipe.

I did the install by myself and I didn't find it that difficult. I used my feet to hold the end of the pipe up while I worked the headpipes into the exhaust ports. Simple, really.

It ain't nothin to it. Simple job. One of the easier 2into1's to install.

I don't have a thunderheader, but, a trick I found to getting my 2-1 fatcat in super easy is to bring them in level from underneath. They just kinda slip right into place that way. They were a little difficult to figure out for a few minutes till I did that. Might want to try that route.
