Totally depends on the look, sound, and performance you want. You'll get as many opinions in this post as there are options, most likely, because we all like the exhaust that we have. Performance-wise, a full system is going to be a little better than most slipons. A good 2 into 1 full system will be better than most 2 into 2 full systems. Find a look that you like and you can most likely find a good exhaust that fits it. A full system is gonna cost more than most slipons and will be a little more involved as far as the install goes. But, if that's what you ultimately want, don't skimp, go ahead and get it. That's what I wanted but I went through 2 sets of slipons before I finally bit the bullet and got what I wanted to start with. Go ahead and upgrade the air cleaner at the same time and the bike will run better and cooler. But you'll probably want to have some sort of module to handle the increased air flow through the stage 1 setup.
I'm not gonna touch the fuelpak question. Other than to say I have one and am happy with it. In my opinion, you need something, whether it be a fuelpak, power commander, sert, thundermax, etc.

If price isn't an option then full system, if it is slip ons. From there go for looks, if looks doesnt matter go for sound, it sound doesnt matter go for power, if power doesnt matter go for.............and on and on.
