Default Winter Mods Phase 1 Complete!!

Finally....Winter Mods Phase 1 complete!! New 1-1/4" narrow 12" apes, chrome risers, chrome clamp, chrome controls/levers/switches, new PM Renthal grips, stainless steel braided cables & brake line, new headlight, new turn signal visors (to match headlight!) & new Corbin Dual Tour (Heated!!) seat with backrests. The seat is pretty huge for the Low Rider, but my wife wouldn't ride on the stock seat (I'll just put this one on when she wants to ride!)!! Also, internally wired the bars, relocated the headlight & the turn signals to the lower tree, & relocated the idiot lights to the new clamp. Another big THANK YOU to the forum member that found the clamp for me!

Now then....can somebody loan me a few bucks for a burger??!!

I hear ya on the roll the bars forward.....unfortunately, I'm too dang short to reach 'em if I do! I was trying to get the bars a few inches higher & back to sit me up straighter as I have an old geezer bad back that bothers me on longer rides. To sit up straight, I'd have to sit with 'the boys' on the back of the tank if I rolled them forward any further. I'm thinking about trying the V-Twin floorboard kit to see if that helps any....thoughts?? Forwards are out of the question...I can barely reach the highway pegs with my toes!

Super nice job, diggin that color scheme also.
Keep an eye on those braided lines to make sure they don't start "hack sawing" other stuff.

Thanks, all, for the compliments. And Adrian, the jury is still out on the seat! I've only had a chance to ride it once since it was done, rode to work & back 1 time, 30 miles each way. It's a Corbin, so it's FIRM for sure. Rain/snow/sleet/ice predicted for tomorrow, so it'll be a while before I get to take her out for a longer ride to see if I hate or like the firmness. The backrest was pretty nice, though, for an old geezer!!
