Thinking about changing my 2007 FXDC stock bars to the stock FXDB "mini apes". Anyone know what additional cables, lines, wires that I need to purchase?

Good luck with whatever you choose.
Those carlini's look sweet. 1.25 or 1.5"?
Also if you don't mind sharing, how tall are you?

Put these risers on my 2010 FXDC with the stock handlebars. Brings the bars up 1" and back 2". Made a real difference in comfort.

I went with 12 inch and a 4 inch riser on my 2010 FXDC. Plan B would be a set of Street Bob bars.

I put the mini apes on my 2011 Super glide and didn't have to change anything

I installed Wide Glide handle bars on my FXD and had to change:
1. Clutch cable
2. Brake line

The wiring on the throttle side had to be pulled out from under the gas tank a little.
The throttle cables had to be routed from the front of the bars to the rear.

The absolute hardest part was changing the clutch cable. And that took about 20 minutes.

Do you have a manual? If you dont - then get one.

Buy you some wide glide mini apes, wide glide clutch cable, wide glide brake line and get busy.

Shortly after I bought my '05 FXD, I had the dealership swap out the stock bars for the Wide Glide mini apes ... had stainless steel braid clutch cable, brake line and throttle/idle cables installed at the same time and the whole deal was $750 all in ... in retrospect (considering all of the additional mods I did myself) I could kick my own a$$ ... wish I had that extra money back that I forked over for labor at dealership rates ....

Later I removed the bars and drilled them for internal wiring and powdercoated them black ... when I reinstalled them, I ran the wiring internally ... it really cleans up the appearance ....

Since then, I replaced the risers with dogbone offset risers and replaced the stock riser bushings with polyurethane bushings ....

Is that the stock front end? If so what plate are you using for behind the headlight? I really wanna do the auxiliary lights bur I think they clean up nicer with the plate behind them. Thanks

That would be the stock 'tins' ... a set of 3-piece shrouds that encompass the triple trees ... also the 'beer cans' ... shrouds that cover the upper sliders ... the upper triple trees on the Fat Boy have tapped bosses all of that attaches to ...

There are auxiliary lights that are made for the stock front end ... (but, as you note, the 'tins' do clean up the area by concealing the wiring) ....

I know these aren't mini-apes but never hurts to give you options to see what you like. This was my old 2009 Super Glide that I put drag bars on.
